FAQ

What kind of photography do you offer?

I specialise in outdoor dog photography, capturing dogs in their element, running, sniffing, playing, or relaxing in natural light. I also offer at-home sessions for pups who feel most comfortable on their own turf, and I’m available for studio-style shoots by request.

How does it work?

Once you get in touch with me, I’ll reply via email to say hello and start planning your shoot. Together, we’ll agree on a date, time, and location that works for you (and your pup!).

Before the shoot, I’ll send over a few tips to help you get the most out of the session, then we meet up, take some beautiful photos, and you’ll receive your finished shots a short while after.

Simple, relaxed, and all about capturing your dog being their brilliant self.

Can I book a shoot with more than one dog?

All packages (excluding the Sports and Last Moments packages) are designed for up to 2 dogs max per session. If you’ve got a bigger pack or want to group together with friends, that’s absolutely fine, just drop me a message and we can plan a custom session that works for everyone.

Do you photograph people too?

Yes! Whether it’s a snuggle, a trail run, or a muddy high-five, I love including humans with their dogs. Just let me know ahead of time so I can factor it into the session.

What if my dog can’t be off-lead?

That’s totally! I work in ways that allow me to capture natural shots while keeping your pup safe. In many cases, leads can be edited out in post-production.

How long do sessions last?

Most sessions last around 45–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s energy, the location, and the package. The Sports Package is a half-day adventure, and Last Moments sessions are completely flexible, we go at your dog’s pace.

What happens if the weather is bad?

I shoot in most conditions (moody skies can look amazing!), but if the weather is really rough, we’ll reschedule at no extra cost. I’ll keep an eye on the forecast and be in touch if we need to make a call.

How do I get my photos?

You’ll receive a link where you can download them in both web and print sizes.

How far do you travel?

I’m based in Bristol (BS5) and travel is included for locations within 20 miles. Outside that, I charge a small travel fee - if this is the case, please contact me.

My dog is reactive, shy, or elderly, can we still do a shoot?

Absolutely. I will work with all sorts of dogs, from bouncy puppies to gentle seniors and everything in between. I tailor each session to your dog’s comfort level and pace, no pressure, no posing, just real moments. It’s important you add any and all information about your dogs personality on the form when booking.
